DREAMBOAT – 1989 BENETEAU OCEANIS 350
‘Dreamboat ’ is a well maintained example of this capable, solid cruising yacht. Finished to the usual Beneteau high standard she has been constantly updated by her present owners over the last 12 years and during that time has crossed the North Sea 18 times crewed by her husband and wife owners. She has entered the North Sea Race in two consecutive years from Scarborough to Ijmuiden She is fitted with a host of extras including a 28 HP Volvo in lieu of the standard 18 HP, fully battened mainsail with single line reefing and three self tailing winches plus standard winch, all Lewmar. Her substantial inventory includes radar, manual windlass, Raymarine WP4000 wheel pilot fully interfaced to Raymarine Plotter/GPS and full suite of Raymarine ST60 instrumentation (autopilot steers by compass bearing, wind angle and waypoint), and a six-man Seago liferaft, Bombard tender and Mariner 2.5 HP outboard. Surveyed in 2009 and valued at £50,000 – £53.300 (the higher figure was recommended for insurance purposes) viewing is highly recommended.
